How to pay for services in Getmancar. What do you pay for in carsharing?
We receive a lot of requests from users "Why were there several payments from my card?", "What is a hold (deposit)?" and “When will the blocked amount be returned?”. We decide to tell everything in this article so that you don’t have to worry: what are the funds paid for and what services are paid? Next, you will learn about the procedure for paying for services, about paid features and hold.
Deposit (hold)
At the beginning of the trip, the deposit amount (hold) is temporarily blocked on your card. A deposit is an amount that is frozen in case, at the end of the ride, the amount on the card is not enough to pay. The deposit is returned the next day after the end of the rental, usually at 1:15 AM.
The amount of deposit depends on the class of the car and the fare. In a minute fare, the standard deposit will be the minimum, from 300₴, in a daily subscription - the maximum, from 1400₴. Also, the moderation service can set an increased hold, which can be reduced by the positive dynamics of trips.
The deposit amount for each car model can be viewed on the tariff card before booking the car.
Features of the deposit (hold)
The deposit is blocked on the card regardless of the rental amount and is returned to the card the next day after the trip is completed.
However, if at the end of the rental the card does not have enough amount to pay for the services, the amount will be taken from the deposit, and the difference will be returned to the card within a few business days, depending on the rules of your bank's payment system.
The amount of the hold can be used to pay fines for violating the rules of the service.
Minute rate
Before the start of the trip, the amount of the deposit is blocked.
During the action of the minute tariff, billing occurs for each minute of the rental and for the kilometers traveled, you can see the amount of the trip immediately in the application. The total payment for the tariff is made at the end of the ride.
Hourly and daily subscriptions
Before the start of the trip, the amount of the deposit is blocked.
The cost of the subscription will be debited at the end of the trip or partially during the trip.
The hourly pass contains 10 km of free mileage, the daily one – 100 km. If the limit is exceeded, each subsequent km will be charged additionally. The cost of mileage depends on the class of car, it is indicated on the fare card.

Extra Insurance
All cars are insured with a deductible. The deductible is an amount not covered by an insurance company. The standard deductible amount is UAH 30,000. This means that the maximum amount of liability for damage to a car is UAH 30,000 (if the amount of damage is more than UAH 70 thousand, then to the liability is added + 25% of the amount exceeding UAH 70 thousand).
Additional or extra insurance allows you to reduce the amount of liability for any damage to the car up to UAH 7,500.
Before riding a car, you can choose to reduce liability. To receive an offer to connect additional insurance, you must enable this function in the application settings. After that, before each trip, you can connect the reduction of liability. The card with the function will have details and cost.
Cost of extra insurance:
Minute tariff – 0.8 UAH - 1.2 UAH/min.
Hourly subscription – 20 - 25 UAH/hour.
Daily subscription – 180 - 250 UAH/day.
The cost of insurance will be added to the rental price and paid in one installment at the end of the trip.
Booking
Booking a car is provided up to 20 minutes free of charge three times within 24 hours. After using the free booking starts charging, the cost per minute will be listed on the car card in the INFO section. The cost of a paid booking will be added to the total rental amount and paid in one payment.
Paid zones
Almost all completion zones in the service are free, they are marked in purple on the map. However, there are less popular areas that can be used to complete the ride, they are marked in yellow and a marker with a price. The use of such areas in certain circumstances may be chargeable. For example, if you start ride a car in a free zone, and complete the ride in a paid zone, in this case, you will be charged for using the zone in the amount of 50 UAH. But if you have start drive a car in a paid zone and end the trip in a paid zone, then the zone fee will not be charged. More details about the use of paid zones can be found in the article.
The cost for using the paid zone will be added to the ride amount and paid in one payment at the end of the trip.
Transfer mode
The mode allows you to complete the trip in places where there is no car sharing completion zone. In this case, the car will close and become available to other users. The function is paid, it is 0.30 UAH/min until the car is booked by another driver. A feature of the mode is that before booking this car by another user, you will not be able to use another car.
The cost of the transfer mode will be paid at the transfer action until the car is booked by another user.
Waiting mode
Waiting mode is paid only in the minute tariff. It allows you to close the car, but not end the ride so another user does not have possibility to book this car. For example, to go to the store or pick up clothes from the dry cleaners.
The cost of waiting will be added to the ride amount and paid in one payment at the end of the trip.
